I think the decision to be an entrepreneur is based on a couple of things. One is the horror of having a 9 to 5 and the other is to do what you love (usually in the artistic field). It's bold but for me it almost feels like I can't do it any other way. I'm motivated because its something I love to do and it's something I want to be good at. I can't see myself living any other way so I have to push forward and make this work no matter what. I want to thrive.
ReplyDeleteWord. I hear that! Keep it up homie! I work a 9-5. Lol
DeleteWhat motivates me everyday to keep moving forward is simple. Its the personal achievement of success, "when you want to be successful as bad as you want to breath that is when you will truly achieve success". It is also the fact that i give myself no other options. I don't believe in a plan B because it distracts you from plan A. The motivation i get everyday comes from within, thats where it begins for me.
ReplyDeleteWord. I'm gonna use that. Gotta have complete faith in Plan A!
DeleteTheir are actually few things that motivated me to be an entrepreneur in life. One was growing up seeing my dad own his own restaurant, he showed me that all you have to be is willing to work for it. Another factor was while I was in college and even in my post-ungrad career I see that working for someone defiantly is not the way to go for myself. I do the 9-5 thing now that Missoldskool was talking bout and I ain't bout that life, not knocking it cause some people love it, but I feel I was never meant for that type of lifestyle where some one else has so much control over your livelihood. And the last main factor for me is that I want to enjoy what I do for a living and also want to make an impact. There's nothing better then being able to know that yea you have to wake up and go to work, but your work isn't really work its what you enjoy doing & to be able to do that and have the ability to make an impact in the society your live that's great! And I have to add this little bit, one should strive to be a better self then you were yesterday, the week before, five yrs earlier etc... If one of your goals in life isn't to be a better person as a whole then your priorities are off just a bit, you shouldn't be doing the same thing you were doing five yrs ago... And if you are they should be on a grander scale!
ReplyDeleteThe idea of failure and being broke at a dead end, survival job scares the crap out of me. That is the number one thing that keeps me pushing forward. I also have always had the desire to be better and think bigger. I want to experience every great thing life has to offer. Being stagnant sickens me. I've always wanted to own something. Build it from the ground up and make myself proud. I really will not be satisfied with myself until I do it.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up with the mind set that nobody will knock on my door to give me anything, that's what motivates me everyday. These days everybody is trying to be famous and reaching for popularity, my goal is to significant. You see those textbooks kids read in school? I grind so hard to be in there..forget mediatakeout, worldstar hiphop, that's temporary. As days go by, people come up to me and tell me how I motivated them to start this business, I motivated them to lose weight, etc. Thats what I'm all about.I learned in life when you defer a dream, you are suffocating it. A dream needs air to breathe, and that's where faith and grind comes in at. I just turned 20 years old. And I'm just reaching my satisfied era in life. I am the CEO/Designer of my Clothing line, a host on my talk show,Talk 2 Me Radio, Broadcast journalism student, and Producer of Life On The Hill reality show, and I am the music manager of Arieon Devon. When people told me I couldn't do something, I went and did it. I wasn't one of the blessed to be born with that silver spoon, I have a used plastic fork that I'm working with making it into gold. I got this dream, I'm protecting it. That's my motivation.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are some real motivators!
ReplyDeleteWhat motivates me are the odds I'm against and the obstacles that I won't allow to deter me. Through my success I aim to reflect the strength of a woman and to prove that simple action behind thought can move mountains. Giving up is much too easy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your input man! Great post!
DeleteWhat Motivates Me Everyday Is Remembering How Hard My Parents Have Been Working From Day One To Provide For Me and My Family. Everyday I Accomplish a New Goal Its One Step Closer To Making My Dreams Come True, One Dream Being To Take Care of My Parents and Family The Same Way They Have Always Taken Care Of Me. When I Reach The Pinnacle Of Success I Plan To Reach The People I Love Who Have Always Love and Supported Me Will Be Taken Care Of.
ReplyDeleteI'm motivated by the aversion to mediocrity. I don't want to live the life I see my parents living. They work so hard, and yet things are hard for them. I don't want to be that hardworker, barely getting by in life. I want to strive to live a life I feel my deeds deserve. I also want to do well in life to help my family and others who are struggling. If I make it to a point in life where I'm very well off, my goal is to help those at the bottom get back on their feet. I want to give others hope.
